All the way from Doha Qatar, we have partnered with foster only rescue (meaning the cats are all in long term fosters until adopted - not outside or in cages in a shelter). Anders - this 18 m Scottish fold came from a breeder who shut down leaving us with over 20 - some pregnant. He is one of the first available as he is healthy happy and completely an angel. He was adopted by an American family whose other cat sadly refuses to accept a buddy. She def needs to be an only cat. Meanwhile Anders was a good sport - he is fine with other cats and also can be solo. Super handsome loving and special. Pics don't capture his gentle cuddliness and true beauty - when u meet him in person u will def fall in love!
All of our cuties were all fostered in a wonderful homes after they were abandoned in Qatar! They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! A few should be solo cats (read bios) but most great with everyone and ALL great with people
ADOPTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 23 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN APPLY We do NOT test for hypoallergenic qualities or exact breeds as we are a rescue so also please do not ask! If you are allergic, then prepare for 20 yrs of an allergy if the cat you adopt causes issues...

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered - are fully vaccinated - and up to date on necessary vet care. Some animals that are listed are special needs might have chronic problems that the adopter would cover for future vetting, although this is rare.

Welcome to Rock N' Rescue! We are a 501c3 cat rescue (and a few dogs!) based in Westchester County NY. Our goal is not only to save the lives of kittens and cats coming from high kill shelters, but to raise awareness of many issues concerning animal welfare. We also have a therapy cat program, providing special cats deemed gentle enough to be able to relieve stress for individuals suffering from illness, PTSD and other stress/trauma in their lives. All of our cats must go to an indoor only home and are not allowed to be declawed (unless they are rescued already declawed). Adopters are encouraged to post happy tales here too!
We also are happy to do custom searches if you are looking for a particular breed/mixed breed of cat or dog!
