Lighta is a 4-year-old, 8-pound sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a shy charm that slowly blossoms into devotion. She can be skittish and timid at first, but once she decides you are safe, she becomes a little shadow who wants to stay close and be part of your day.
She does well with other dogs, is fine with cats, and has been good with kids. Lighta is kennel trained and comfortable settling in her crate. She is not leash trained yet and is still learning the ropes of potty training. She currently uses potty pads, and her foster is working on outdoor training, but this will be an area her adopter will need to continue focusing on with patience and consistency.
Lighta is a sweet girl who thrives on routine and reassurance. She can be somewhat vocal, so she may be better suited for a home rather than apartment living. With time, structure, and a calm environment, she has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion.
Lighta is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Lighta has a mild luxating patella in her left knee, Grade 2 out of 4, while her right knee is normal. This is not causing her any issues but should be monitored over time.
Lighta is located in College Station, TX, and her adoption fee is $650.
