My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Emmi is part of our owner surrender program and is available for foster or adoption.

Little Emmi is full of joy and puppy happiness. She’s a very energetic, playful girl who wants nothing more than to run, jump, and play all day long. Like most puppies, she’s in her chewing and “getting into everything” phase and is still working on potty training.  It’s all part of her sweet, enthusiastic personality.

Emmi would be a fun addition to a home with kids, and because of her small size, older kids would be best. She’s very alert and likes to bark at unexpected noises outside, making her quite aware of her surroundings. She gets along well with both dogs and cats and would love a home that’s ready to embrace all the fun, energy, and love that comes with a happy puppy.

If you’re looking for a playful, joyful companion who will keep you smiling, Emmi might be your girl!

Emmi is up to date on vaccines and has been treated for puppy/kitten parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange for spay/neuter and microchip at 5-6 months of age at The Spay and Neuter Center of New Jersey in Holmdel.

Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. Her adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

Additional adoption info

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
