🐾 Meet Holly — A Sweet Calico Ready for a New Beginning
Holly is a beautiful calico cat with a gentle heart and a strong love for people. She recently came to Melissa’s Second Chances Rescue after losing the home she once knew due to circumstances completely outside of her control. When her former caretaker passed away, Holly was left without a safe place to go—and thanks to a determined family member who wanted to do right by her, she was brought into rescue instead of being left behind.
Now safe and cared for, Holly is showing everyone just how wonderful she is. She has a very sweet, affectionate personality, enjoys attention, and seeks out human companionship. She’s been settling in well, does fine with other cats so far, and greets new people with a calm, gentle curiosity.
Holly has also done well with children, making her a lovely option for a family or a home with regular visitors. Her history with dogs is unknown, so slow introductions would be recommended if there are canine companions in the home.
Holly is the kind of cat who seems grateful just to be safe and loved. She’s calm, affectionate, and easy to enjoy—happy to share space, soak up attention, and be part of a household again.
