This incredible 2-year-old Chihuahua has more than earned a lifetime of pampering. Junebug arrived at SNIPSA right alongside her sister, Jitterbug, heavily pregnant and ready for motherhood. Now, she is past that stage in her life – ready to spread her wings with a forever family!
Junebug is a busy girl with boundless curiosity. She loves to flutter around near the window and watch passerbys, take cozy naps in her cocoon, and sound the alarm for newcomers. A Chihuahua through and through, she has a fun energy that is balanced with a touch of sass. Junebug is a young adult, but she is still learning to trust. With the absence of her puppies, humans are becoming her source of comfort, and we can see her thriving with continued love and socialization.

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
