Meet Murphy! This sweet and high-energy boy is a Golden/White dog who loves nothing more than running, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. His love for life shines through in his playful bark and boundless enthusiasm. Murphy thrives in an active environment and needs a yard to stretch his legs and run to his heart’s content. A rural setting is ideal for this happy-go-lucky pup to explore and enjoy.

Murphy gets along great with other dogs, so he’d be a wonderful companion in a multi-dog household. While he hasn’t been tested with cats yet, his friendly nature and social personality suggest he could be a good fit with the right introductions. Murphy is a toy lover and will happily entertain himself with his favorite playthings.

When it's time to wind down, Murphy loves his kennel and enjoys the cozy, safe space it provides. He’s also incredibly affectionate and will quickly become your best friend, always ready for cuddles and attention. 1.
Submit Application

To start your adoption process, please complete our online application.

2.
Interview

One of our volunteers will contact via email or phone regarding your application and discuss if a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

3.
Home Check

Home visits are completed virtually with through a video conferencing app or FaceTime.

4.
Meet the Pet

In person meet and greets can be arranged for local adopters. For our out of state adopters, a virtual meeting can be arranged with FT.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once your application is approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to your electronically.

6.
Take the Pet Home

For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires an application for meet and greets and consideration for adoption. Applicants complete a screening process including phone discussions/interviews and background checks through online services. Applicants are required to provide vet references for past and/or current pets and personal references. Lastly, a virtual home visit is completed to be sure your home is the right environment for one of our pets.
