Root Beer is a happy-go-lucky male puppy with a classic black-and-white coat and a big personality to match his bright smile. This little guy is playful, curious, and always ready for his next adventure—especially if toys are involved! He loves romping around, exploring his surroundings, and soaking up attention from his people.
Root Beer has that perfect puppy mix of goofy energy and sweet affection. After a good play session, he’s just as content to hang out and enjoy some cuddles. He gets along great with other dogs and even enjoys playing with cats, making him a wonderful fit for a multi-pet home.
He’s already house trained and is eager to please—especially when chicken treats are involved! He’s also eager to learn and would do great with positive reinforcement training as he grows.

A volunteer will contact you by email or phone to discuss your application and whether a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

Home Check
Home visits are done virtually using a video app or FaceTime.

Meet the Pet
Local adopters can arrange in-person meet and greets, while out-of-state adopters can meet virtually via FaceTime.

Sign Adoption Contract
Once approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to you electronically.

Take the Pet Home
For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.
