Cherry is a 6.5-year-old domestic short hair with a stunning diluted calico coat and a personality as beautiful as her markings. She’s incredibly intelligent, deeply affectionate, and knows exactly how to win hearts. This confident girl comes when called and loves to show off just how smart she is—Cherry truly lives up to her name as a total sweetheart.   One of Cherry’s most endearing qualities is her charm and expressiveness. She’ll happily greet you when you get home, often standing up on her back feet to rub against your hand like a tiny ballerina. Keep an eye out for her adorable gray mark under her chin and three beige dots on her shoulders—her favorite “scratching spots” that make her melt with joy. Cherry is  very intelligent and people-oriented. She is a ffectionate, confident, and full of character, i ndependent but loves meaningful interaction. Cherry enjoys wand  toys with long strings are her absolute favorite, and  prefers calm play—no loud or noisy toys, please. Cherry enjoys engaging with her humans more than chaotic environments. She is  excellent with kids and  friendly and welcoming to new people.   Cherry would thrive best as the queen of her castle, ideally in a home where she’s the only pet. She’s independent, self-assured, and loves doing things her own way—prancing to the beat of her own drum. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents.

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
