Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please submit your adoption application, online: gatoscallejeros.org/adopt

2.

Interview

We will review your adoption application and follow up via email within 24-72 hours to schedule a phone interview.

3.

Meet the Pet

If appropriate, we allow "meet and greets" once potential adopters have been interviewed and approved.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

Once potential adopter is set on adopting, we will review and sign the adoption contract.

5.

Home Check

We will schedule and drop off your adopted pet to your home residence. At drop off, we will perform a small home check.

6.

Pay Fee

The adoption fee can be paid same day the contract is signed or the day of "drop off" of your pet companion.

7.

Take the Pet Home

After delivering your new pet companion, they are home! "Happy Gotcha Day!" adoption photos are commonly taken to remember the special day.
