💙 Age: Estimated 1 year old (Born in December 2024)
💙 Weight: 16.5 kg / 36.38 lb
💙 Adogs Updates: @_adogs_
1⃣ Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, dental scaling complete, undergoing treatment for giardiasis.
2⃣ Rescue Story
* Albam had been living at the Suwon City Shelter since she was a puppy. The shelter frequently euthanised animals due to overcrowding, so Albam was urgently rescued.
3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Really likes people! Isn’t shy, even with strangers, and approaches without hesitation. Makes eye contact with people and follows them around, even jumping up on them because she likes them so much. Is a cutie who wags her tail like a helicopter for familiar people.
* With Dogs: Gets overstimulated when meeting new dogs so caution is needed. She growls or tries to mount them due to her high energy levels, which may lead to fights and she needs to be stopped. With dogs that she matches well with, she plays around happily.
* With Cats: Hasn’t met any cats yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since she’s living in a communal environment at our Center.
* Potty Training: Does potty both indoors and outdoors at the Center. Will need basic training in a new environment. Tends to eat poop, so it must be cleaned promptly after she potties.
* Walks: Gets overexcited and pulls on the leash at the start of a walk. After calming down, she stops pulling and matches her handler’s pace!
* Grooming: Does well with baths and is calm when getting dried in a pet drying box! Tries to run away when it’s time to get brushed, but she is docile once caught. Is uncomfortable being brushed on her hind paws.
* Car Sickness: Doesn’t have experience in cars.
* Biting: Hasn’t bitten people. May bite other dogs when meeting them for the first time due to being overstimulated, so caution is needed.
* Barking: Whines when it’s time to get shots or when there are treats around.
* Likes: Really likes food and has a good appetite. Tends to eat food in a rush.
* Dislikes: Is uncomfortable being touched on her hind paws. Dislikes putting on and taking off clothes.
* Tricks: Knows how to sit!

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
