My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Audrey wins you over in the little moments - the way she wiggles with excitement, nudges your hand, pounces on leaves, or leans in with trust and affection. Shes athletic, full of personality, and learning how to navigate all the new experiences that life has to offer. She greets every challenge with enthusiasm, looking to her person for a little backup along the way. Once she trusts shes in her safe space, her goofy side shines - all bounce, laughter, and those ridiculous expressions that keep you smiling.

Shes looking for someone fun loving, patient, and kind who can keep her confidence building through simple adventures and routines. Audreys young, smart, motivated, and full of positive energy, but would prefer to be the only pet in the home so she can soak up all of the love. When the days over, she gives the best snuggles - the kind where she melts into you like she was meant to be there all along.

Audrey is Dr. Cates staff favorite because of her sparkling personality and tender soul. As a RAL staff favorite, Audreys adoption fee is waived!

PS - Audrey has met with a fabulous trainer who has agreed to offer continued training assistance and support for Audreys life! Her rambunctiousness may be a lot for small humans, so she would do best in a home with older kids and teens.

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
