My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear Cub is such a friendly, easy going guy! When he sits, his paws turn outward and it is absolutely precious! He somehow packs his weight into a short andamp; stout little body, making him a great size for many folks. His foster family says that hes housetrained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and is friendly to everyone he meets. Hes been gentle with kids hes met and, with proper introduction, he has done well with dog friends, too! Bear will do anything for a tasty treat, which makes training a cinch.

Bear Cub loves Kongs and other chew toys, playing ball, and going for walks. He wants to be right by your side and is up for any adventure. Hes a quirky guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart - making for a loving, pleasant, fun companion. With his dashing looks and sweet nature, what more could you ask for? Bear Cub will make an awesome addition to one lucky family!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
