Stella Bean is one of three lab mix puppies who were found running loose on a rural property. We didn't have any room at our shelter for them so they have been staying at the home of one of our local law enforcement employees. She has been fostering them, working with them on training, and getting their vetting done. Stella Bean is around 6 to 7 months old, weighs approximately 40 pounds, has been vaccinated and chipped, and will be spayed on Jan. 14th. Her fee is $150.
Stella can be a little shy at first but is loving and calm. She loves the company of people and is playful and fun. She has done well with kids and other dogs. She's curious around cats but has shown no negative behavior or prey drive. She will need to continue her basic training and is enthusiastic and ready to learn.
NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.
We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
