My name is Anne Bonny!

Anne Bonny is the picture of resilience... She came to us from the city shelter after being hit by a car. Poor thing suffered both an eye and hip injury during the incident which meant our clinic quickly jumped to work to support her medical care. She was treated for heartworms, sedated for surgery to remove her eye and put her hip back in place to get her back on the path to health as soon as possible. While she was still under sedation our clinic wanted to take some Xrays to make sure her hips looked good and there were no other broken bones. Imagine everyone's surprise when we found out that Anne Bonny was a very underweight expecting mom! Two days later she gave birth to 4 adorable little puppies and has been such a good, attentive mother.

This family has been through way more than most ever will; they certainly deserve some peace and quiet away from the shelter so they can finally relax. They desperately need someone to step up and foster them for the next 4-6 weeks until the puppies are weaned or adopted.
