My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Perry! 🐾

Perry is a handsome, super-lanky 75 lb. Vizsla mix with a huge head, oversized ears, and an even bigger heart. This sweet boy is the definition of a Velcro dog—he’s loyal, affectionate, and happiest when he’s right by your side. 💛

✨ About Perry:

* Male, 75 lbs., Vizsla mix
* Potty trained ✔️
* Good with kids 👧🧒
* Loyal, gentle, and very loving
* Working on leash manners 🦮
* Gets along with other dogs, but would thrive best as an only dog
* Unsure about cats 🐱

Perry wants nothing more than to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will follow you from room to room and be your shadow, Perry may be your perfect match. 🐶💞

More about this shelter

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
