What we know: Owner/Guardian Surrender/Owner Surrender to Espanola Humane in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Came from a litter of eight that came to us fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.
From the foster: Look at those eyebrows! Kate is the happiest little puppy and her tail will tell you so! She is very playful and likes to snuggle and get pets! She is a licker and a lover. She understands the concept of the dog door and is making progress with potty training. She is learning treats, but currently won't take them from hand, you have to set them on the ground. She is timid of people until they get on the ground at her level, then she will approach. She does great with kids and other dogs.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
