John is a very affectionate and loyal miniature poodle mix pup. He was abandoned by his original owners and by the time he was found, he was dirty, scared and his fur was so matted that he had to be shaved. It took him a little while to feel safe and start to play, but once he began to trust us, he was a completely different dog. He is happiest when he gets to sit next to you and cuddle and when he has a toy to play with. He loves wearing sweaters and is great with other dogs and is fine around cats. He is very smart and house trained. He would do great as a solo dog because he wants attention from his human, but he also loves to play with other dogs so he would do great with a sibling or two. He does great with kids, he does try to lick their faces but is very gentle. He can go in a crate when you have to leave him at home, but it`s not his favorite. He is a great sleeper and will sleep through the entire night cuddled up next to you. John is a great dog who deserves an owner who loves him and wants a cuddle buddy.
