Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Meet Ulysses! Or Uly for short. Uly is such a friendly and all around nice cat! His foster family thinks the resident cats should be taking notes. Uly was a stray who was hanging around his current foster family’s house, and since he was so friendly he was eventually brought inside. Uly loves cuddling and being around people. He’s super well mannered; he enjoyed getting a bath and is cooperative getting into his carrier to go to the vet. He’s getting better at playing with cat toys, at first he did not seem very interested. He had no concerns using the litter box when he was brought inside and is good at keeping his space clean. He’s food motivated, but respectful when he is around human food. It still would be wise to not leave food out with him around.
Unfortunately Ulysses is FiV positive, so a household with no cats or another FiV positive kitty would be best. He does get along well with other cats, so if you are looking for another FiV cat, Uly would be a great choice! It is unknown how he would be with dogs or children, but given how well tempered he is, he should be able to fit in anywhere!
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Ulysses is FiV positive

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
