Tanner is a 1.5-year-old mini Bernedoodle who came to us as a breeder release, which means everything about the world is brand new to him. He’s crate trained and is doing really well with his leash skills, though he might need a little coaxing from time to time. Tanner’s personality truly shines when he has other dogs around—he adores canine companionship and loves to play. He’s also a sweet and snuggly guy who enjoys attention from his humans.
It's important to know that Tanner, like many breeder release dogs, will need time to adjust to his new lifestyle. He won’t be “perfect” in just a few days. It typically takes at least three weeks for dogs like Tanner to settle in and get comfortable with all the changes. His new family will need to be committed to this process and understand that he might have moments where he feels a little stressed, whines, or cries if he’s not around people.
Tanner would do best in a home that either has another playful dog or can commit to giving him daily social time with other dogs, whether that’s through doggy daycare or regular dog park visits. He’s a playful, spunky boy who just needs that canine camaraderie to be at his happiest!
