Meet Turk! 🐾
Turk is a cutie with a big heart who’s searching for his very own furever family. He loves being around his people.

Turk has excellent house manners and is fully house-trained—no accidents here! He does great going outside on a leash and takes care of his bathroom business right away once he’s out.

Turk is accustomed to being crated when his foster is at work for several hours. Turk goes into his crate willingly when asked. One of Turk’s most endearing traits? His gentle nature. He takes treats so delicately that we had to double-check to make sure he even had teeth!

Turk has shown no negative reactions toward the many dogs he’s seen on leash or through fences. We are currently working on formally testing him with other dogs off leash to better understand his play style. For now, when he spots the large female dog he shares a fence line with, he gets adorably wiggly and offers enthusiastic play bows, clearly hoping to start a game of chase along the fence.

Turk is a sweet independent companion who will thrive in a home where he can soak up life and enjoy the good life. 💙

Submit Application

To start your adoption process, please complete our online application.

2.
Interview

A volunteer will contact you by email or phone to discuss your application and whether a specific pet is a good fit for your home.

3.
Home Check

Home visits are done virtually using a video app or FaceTime.

4.
Meet the Pet

Local adopters can arrange in-person meet and greets, while out-of-state adopters can meet virtually via FaceTime.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved, your adoption contract and payment link will be sent to you electronically.

6.
Take the Pet Home

For our out of state adopters, transport will be arranged once adopted.

Our adoption process starts with an application for meet and greets and adoption consideration. Applicants complete phone interviews, background checks, provide vet and personal references, and finish with a virtual home visit to ensure a good fit.
