This dog is fostered in Richfield MN.
Palmer is a 5 year old Berner female. She weighs about 90 pounds. Palmer was recently surrendered after she no longer fits in her adoptive home.
Palmer likes other dogs and cats. Palmer has lived with kids in a previous home. She prefers friends 8 and up as littles can be loud and scary. After she settles in a bit she loves to cuddle. She doesn’t mind sharing the attention with other dogs either. She has a wonderful and sweet personality.
Palmer is doing well on re-learning house training. Her new family is going to need to keep working with house training signals. She is good in a crate. She is also re-learning some skill like Come and Sit and her new family will need to keep up that training. Palmer does walk on a leash and rides quietly in the car. She can spook at new and unexpected things, so is not a candidate to be loose at a home with no fence or an invisible fence at this time. This means we are requiring a solid, preferably 6 foot, permanent fence for this dog. Palmer will do best in a home with another dog friend.
*Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares.
*We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Prospective families must come to the dogs location in MN to meet.*
*Emails are answered in the order they are received. We are receiving a large number of emails, so answering promptly is our goal. If you are interested in adoption, your prompt responses are the best way to get through the adoption screening*
*Paws First does not accept checks or credit cards. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ADOPTIONS AT ANY POINT IN THE ADOPTION SCREENING PROCESS.*
