Meet Johnny — this two-year-old explorer just entered foster care with Every Last One Rescue! 

 Jonny is a 2-year-old, 60-lb fuzzy brindle goofball who’s finally getting his chance after 131 days in the NYC shelter system. Jonny is affectionate, gentle, and has a happy, confident personality that makes people fall for him fast.

Jonny loves hanging with his people, but he’s also great at doing his own thing. He’s perfectly happy entertaining himself with toys or a good chew, then popping over for cuddles when the mood strikes. He settles beautifully in the home and takes city life in stride — loud trucks, honking cars, and everyday chaos don’t faze this guy one bit.

He’s house-trained with no accidents since leaving the shelter and crate-trained, sleeping through the night like a champ. On walks, Jonny is curious and enthusiastic; he’s strong but improving every day and is highly motivated by one very important thing: cheese.

Jonny’s play style is fun and silly, though he’s still polishing his manners as he decompresses from shelter life. He was a staff favorite thanks to his sweet, lovable nature.

Jonny LOVES people — if there’s a lap available, he will absolutely plop himself right down

Johnny is a social, happy-go-lucky adventurer who loves both the city and the park. He’d leap right into your arms if you’d let him, always curious to explore every corner he passes. When he’s not on the move, he’s perfectly content lounging on a bench and people-watching. Expect plenty of kisses andtail wags! He’s a happy boy who thrives on attention and new experiences.
