Leonard is an easygoing big kitty with a story that speaks to his incredible resilience. When he first came to us, he was very distrustful of humans, and X-rays later revealed a BB, evidence that he had been shot at in the past. Despite everything he’s been through, Leonard has blossomed into the sweetest companion.
Now, Leonard is often one of the first cats to hop right into your lap, always welcoming snuggles and affection. He’s calm, gentle, and incredibly easygoing, the kind of cat who will fit seamlessly into just about any household. Leonard is a total snuggle bug who’s ready to spend the rest of his life being loved the way he always deserved.
Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their Spay/Neuter surgery, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or you can stop in and see all of our adoptables in person Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm.

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.
