In the tales of the high seas, Angelica Teach was a brave and spirited explorer. Our Angelica is no different! Returned to us after two years, she has proven that while she’s a legendary beauty, she’s tired of the "fleet" life. She has officially resigned from being a sister and is looking for a solo mission where she can be your one-and-only companion.
Angelica is a stunning ginger girl with a unique, "extra-fluffy" short-hair coat that is as soft as silk. With her sweet, round face and expressive eyes, she doesn't even need to speak to tell you she loves you—though she certainly will anyway!
Angelica is a girl of many words and even more cuddles. If you’re looking for a cat who is an active participant in your life, she’s the one:
* The Navigator: She is a professional "chatterbox." She will happily follow you around the house, giving you a full report on her day and asking about yours.
* The Snuggle Scout: Her favorite pastime is rubbing against everything she can reach—especially your hands! She is a world-class cuddler who desperately wants to be in your lap.
* The Brave Heart: Unlike her sister, Angelica is ready to jump right into her next adventure. She is bold, affectionate, and ready to go home as soon as her final "inspections" (vetting) are complete!
Angelica struggled with her relationship with her sister in her previous home, and she’s made it very clear: she wants to be the only pet. She has so much personality and love that she truly fills up a room all by herself. She’s looking for a "captain" who wants a devoted partner for all of life’s voyages.
Are you ready to welcome this golden girl into your home and discover the treasures of her heart?
Angelica is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
