My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy came into our care after her 86-year-old mom moved into assisted living. Adopted 12 years ago, Sandy has known a lifetime of love as a cherished companion, and now, at 13 years young, she’s ready to share that love again.

Sandy weighs about 50 pounds and has the sweetest personality. She adores people, happily accepting pets and snuggles from friends and strangers alike. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, does well with cats, and truly enjoys canine playtime. Walks are one of her favorite activities, and she still loves getting out to explore.

In her previous home, Sandy encountered children of all ages - from infants to older kids - and was gentle, and patient with them all.

Sandy is currently enjoying a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can continue learning about her personality and needs while she’s comfortable and cared for. Stay tuned for updates from her foster home!

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and loyal companion, Sandy may be the perfect match.
