Romel isn’t your typical Frosted Face—he’s a sprightly 4-year-old full of life, love, and so much potential! This friendly, sweet, and smart boy is a true gem. Romel is a great companion who is both well-behaved and playful. He knows SIT, SHAKE, DOWN, and ROLL OVER!
Romel is the ideal companion for outdoor adventures. Whether you're walking, hiking, or running, he's up for it—at whatever pace you prefer!
When it's time to wind down, Romel is the perfect cuddle buddy. He melts into a cuddle bug when you scratch his chest. He is ready to be your new best friend, adventure buddy, and snuggle partner!
When Romel went on a two-week Frosted Fling with an amazing foster family, he
Here’s what we learned about this big cuddle bug:
• A+ Listener and fast learner—he picks things up so quickly!
• Eager to please, responds well to gentle direction, and is potty trained like a champ (heads straight for the back door when nature calls).
• He LOVES being close to his person—follows you from room to room, cuddles up, and absolutely thrives on praise.
• Walks great with two leashes (transitioning to a harness), and is generally mellow—90% couch potato, 10% wild zoomies!
• Loves food, takes treats gently, and while the dishwasher freaks him out, his favorite place in the house is still the kitchen!
• Needs tough chew toys (he’s a pro at destroying the soft ones!) and a car restraint when riding along.
• Did we mention he SMILES? Yep, this guy is all joy.
• He’s been great with adults, a superstar out to dinner, and passed his Kahoots test like a pro!
• Curious about other dogs, not reactive from a distance, but needs someone to help him stay calm if things get too close too fast (bikes and scooters surprised him once—but he recovered like a champ).
Romel is currently being fostered through our Molly & Me Project, which is for special dogs like him who are wonderful with humans, but not well-socialized with other animals. Since they need to be the only pets in the home, it is a paid foster program. You can learn more at: https://frostedfacesfoundation.org/mollymeproject
Romel is doing great in his foster home, but he is still on the lookout for a loving forever home. Might it be with you?
