My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nola the drop-dead gorgeous Catahoula Leopard Dog is a perfect storm of loveliness. Shiny, sleek, polite and affectionate, she’s a tender-hearted companion to dogs and people, ready for long walks (including stairs), beach runs and hikes. She’s got basic commands under her belt, and, according to her recent foster, quickly learns the rules of the house. Above all, she’s a beautiful soul whose gentle lean into love is an emotional game changer. If your family is looking to expand for a sharp-witted sweetie pie with a big heart and perfect posture, we’ve got her!

Here's some notes from her foster:

She was, understandably, a bit all over the place initially out of excitement. But once she settled a bit at home, she caught onto things very quickly. She’s VERY sweet, affectionate, and adaptable. Picked up on routines quickly. She has great potty habits, and even went to the door to ask to go out.

She’s an enthusiastic eater, but actually stops when she’s full! Slept through the night without any issues (one night in the giant donut bed, one pressed against my husband in bed all night). She LOVED leaning into/lying on my husband on the sofa watching Hallmark Christmas movies! She knows how to sit and is eager to please. She is strong, and has a visible spring in her step.
