My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny for Your Thoughts! 🐾💖

Hi, I’m Penny, and I’m a tiny ball of puppy energy wrapped in the sweetest snuggles! I love zooming around, chasing my toys, and exploring everything with my curious little nose. But don’t let my playful side fool you—I also adore curling up next to my person for cozy naps and quiet snuggle time.

I’m happiest when I can follow you from room to room, soaking up all the love and attention I can get. Whether it’s playtime, puppy kisses, or just hanging out by your side, I give everything my full puppy-heart energy!

I’m still learning all my puppy basics, but with patience, love, and lots of treats, I’ll grow into the perfect little sidekick. If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and cuddle-loving companion to make every day brighter, I just might be the one for you!

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
Please visit our website, www.ahumanesociety.org for more information.
