My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Caden 🤍🐾
7 months old • Sweet soul • Blooming boy

Caden is a total cutie pie with a gentle heart and a soft, thoughtful nature. At around 7 months old, he’s still learning about the world and discovering just how wonderful it can be. He may be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience and kindness, Caden opens up beautifully.

At the center, he’s already gaining confidence thanks to his doggy friends, and it’s been so special to watch him come out of his shell. Each day, his playful and loving personality shines a little brighter.

Caden is ready to continue blossoming in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and encouraged to be his best self. If you’re looking for a sweet companion to grow with, Caden would love to take that journey with you. 🌱🐶

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
