Meet Dallas – Your Future Best Friend with a Heart of Gold!

Dallas’s journey started on the streets of South Carolina, where she was found bravely caring for her three puppies. Thanks to a kind volunteer and SNARR’s quick action, this devoted momma was saved just in time. Now, her puppies have all found their forever homes—and now it’s Dallas’s turn to be the center of someone’s world!

Personality Snapshot

Dallas is the definition of a sweetheart—soulful, loving, and eager to bond. She’s still learning the ropes of home life but is blossoming more every day. Here’s a little about her:

  • Affectionate and people-loving – she craves being close and adores cuddles.

  • Curious and goofy – her playful side shines as she settles in.

  • Smart and trainable – highly food motivated and loves learning new things!

  • little stubborn, a lot lovable – her spirited streak just makes her more endearing.

Life in Foster Care

Dallas’s foster family says she’s making amazing strides at home! Some highlights:

  • Crate-Free Success  – Though she is crate-trained, she's been sleeping on her cozy dog bed and is responsible enough to be stay loose while her foster works.

  • Loves Training Time  – She already knows sit, down, stay, wait, place, catch, come, crawl, and leave it! She's a smart girl with a lot of training potential.

  • Threshold Manners and No Jumping  – Every day, she’s practicing polite greetings—and making fantastic progress.

  • Adorable Cuddle Moves  – When called, she sprints joyfully into her foster's arms for hugs. It’s as heart-meltingly cute as it sounds!

‍ Social Skills

Dallas is working hard on her social skills, improving every day. She can bark when she sees people or dogs at a distance, but:

  • If introduced slowly to new dogs and people, she warms up beautifully and becomes a total lovebug.

  • She already gets along well with her foster's three dogs and has even learned to respect their bunny’s space!

  • Slow, patient introductions will help her thrive in her new home.

Mealtime Tips

  • Dallas loves mealtime. Her foster uses fun and engaging feeding methods like scattering food or rolling it in a towel to help her slow down and engage her mind. She also loves using her food for training games!

‍ Walks & Adventures

  • She’s eager and wiggly when excited and can balance adorably on her hind legs to see what's going on.

  • With the right walking tools and ongoing positive training, she’ll be a pro.

What Dallas Needs - Dallas is looking for a forever family that’s:

  • Patient, kind, and gentle

  • Excited to continue her training and watch her blossom

  • Willing to do slow introductions with new people and dogs

  • Understanding of her past fears and committed to building her confidence

  • Ready to soak up her cuddles, loyalty, and silly sweetness every single day
