This handsome little man is Walker! He was surrendered to the shelter on 12/31 because his family was going through life changes, and they no longer had time to care for him. They did note that Walker is house-trained, good with children, and good with other dogs. On one of his walks with a volunteer outside he met a Great Dane through the fence and was very friendly and curious. We're sad for Walker because he seems like such an easygoing, happy little guy, and the shelter is no place for an older dog. For a senior he sure has a lot of pep in his step, and he loves getting outside for his daily walks. If you're looking for a chill, new BFF without the crazy puppy/young dog energy, please come meet Walker.
Walker is approximately 13 years old, and weighs 32 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Walker is waiting patiently in kennel 873; his ID # is 16070.
