This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions.
Freya is a gentle, soulful girl whose quiet bravery shows in the sweetest little ways. This 3.5-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd weighs 26 pounds and has beautiful blue merle fur, a thoughtful expression, and a moderate energy level that fits nicely into a peaceful routine. Freya is very much a dog’s dog and takes comfort in the company of other pups. She enjoys walks, light hikes, and running around a securely fenced yard with her dog friends, and it is adorable to watch her instinctively bark and herd everyone out the door for yard time. She loves chew toys, happily de-stuffs plush toys, and feels safest relaxing in her crate, which she considers her cozy retreat. Freya is housetrained, crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows cues like outside and kennel. While she is very timid with people, it is incredibly heartwarming when she gathers the courage to take treats or allow a quick head pet. In her past, Freya escaped from her home and was hit by a car, resulting in a broken pelvis and a dislocated leg. She underwent surgery and has since made a full recovery, moving comfortably and enjoying her daily activities without issue. She does well with other dogs and cats and would do best in an adult-only home where things are calm, predictable, and respectful of her space. A quiet household with a securely fenced yard and at least one friendly dog companion is what she needs. If you think Freya could be the perfect companion for your dog and a fun addition to your home, please contact us for more information.

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
