My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laszlo is the ultimate cuddle bug with a heart full of love. He’ll happily run right up to you and immediately roll over, ready for belly rubs and affection. Sweet and gentle by nature, he thrives on human connection and enjoys being close to people.

Laszlo is also a very smart boy; he already knows sit, down, and paw, and with just a bit more practice, he’s well on his way to mastering stay. He’s highly motivated by treats, which makes training both fun and rewarding.

Overall, Laszlo is an incredibly loving, affectionate dog with a wonderful personality who’s sure to make a loyal and devoted companion.

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
