My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

???? MEET KYLIE & BOONE — A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE DUO ????Kylie and Boone came to us as strays after appearing at a kind finder’s home on Christmas Eve. Their amazing hosts kept these two friendly pups safe and cared for until an Animal Control Officer could bring them to ICAS after the holiday. Unfortunately, neither pup had a microchip registered to an owner, and no one came forward to claim them—so now they’re officially available for adoption! These two are absolutely adorable and as sweet as can be. ??? A Little About KylieKylie was tested with a larger spayed female after arriving at the shelter and was a bit overwhelmed. This may have been due to the other dog’s size, as Kylie is used to being with her pint-sized “brother,” Boone. She did allow polite sniffing and showed interest—just with a little uncertainty. With proper, slow introductions, Kylie will likely enjoy new canine friends just as much as she loves Boone!? A Little About BooneBoone met the same female dog and was thrilled! This social butterfly immediately ran up to her, tail wagging, and showed off his impressive zoomie skills. He was very eager to play and clearly wished that leash wasn’t holding him back!?? Adoption TipsMeet-and-greets with other dogs and children are always recommended prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for everyone.?? The 3-3-3 Rule for Adopting a Shelter Pet• 3 Days to decompress and adjust to a new environment• 3 Weeks to learn routines and begin building trust• 3 Months to fully settle in and show their true personalities??
