Delilah is an absolutely beautiful girl who is approximately 10 months old and she is doing well in her foster home in Maine. Four of her siblings were adopted and she and Dudley are a little more reserved and quirky so they are in search of the perfect home for them. For Delilah that would be a home with another confident dog and potentially a fenced yard because leash walks can be hard for her.
Delilah's mom is a Mountain Cur Mix and Delilah is the biggest girl at about 45 lbs.
Delilah is a sensitive soul who does well with other dogs and has some quirky things that her foster family is learning about her. For a little bit she was not consistently eating and drinking but once they changed the location of the bowls she’s been fine!It has taken some time for her to feel comfortable with with being leashed She seems the most comfortable with female humans but warms up given patience and someone who will let her take the lead on interaction. She’s doing great with housetraining and she likes to wear her jacket as long as you don’t put it over her head.
If you have interest in meeting Delilah or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
