Little Winnie is learning what love feels like for the very first time. She is in NJ and looking for a foster or adopter

Winnie came from a hoarding situation where she was never really held or cherished, so when she’s scared, she freezes and trembles. With soft, gentle words, slow movements, and a few treats, she slowly starts to relax and show her incredibly sweet nature. She’ll lay next to her person, cuddle in close, and with time, even roll over for belly rubs.

Winnie doesn’t seem to mind other dogs or cats, and she’s still learning about potty training, leashes, and collars. She needs a calm, patient home that will go at her pace and celebrate every tiny victory. This little girl deserves the most loving, gentle, special home so she can truly blossom into the beautiful dog she’s meant to be.

Winnie is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
