Meet Cook Out — your adventure-loving sidekick!
Cook Out is a 3-year-old Dachshund/Beagle mix with a big personality packed into a perfect 20-pound frame. He was found hanging out in a Quality Inn parking lot (clearly waiting for his forever family) and is now ready to trade motel life for a cozy home of his own.
This little guy loves to play and would thrive in a dog-savvy home with another higher-energy dog who’s ready to be his built-in best friend. Cook Out is smart, enthusiastic, and always up for fun—whether that’s a game of chase, a car ride, or heading out on a new adventure. He’d make an awesome hiking partner and will happily hop in the car to go wherever the day takes you.
Cook Out does have a few quirks that make him extra special. He has some resource guarding tendencies (he likes the guard the lap of the individual he is snuggling at the time), so he’s looking for a home experienced with mild behavior challenges. The good news? He comes with free training in the Greensboro area to help set everyone up for success—Cook Out included!
