My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spot is personality and then some. He is not only adorable, but he is also high energy, loving, and playful. Spot came to us as a stray from PG County. He is engaging, fun, and as cute as a button!

Spot gets his name from the spots down his back. He is white with black spots, and he is also marked by his perky ears, his fun-loving nature, and his interest in getting attention from everyone. Spot loves people and other dogs too (we don't know about cats or children yet). He does not seem to know basic commands yet, but he iis treat motivated and will likely learn quickly.

Spot is new to PAW, so we will update his profile as we learn more about him.

Additional adoption info

1. Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application.
2. Adoption applications are reviewed by an Adoption Review Committee within a couple of days.
3. A vet check is performed on all adoption applicants for current and past pets.
4. A home visit is conducted.
5. If the adoption is approved, a contract is signed, a donation made, and the pet goes home with the adopter.

We focus on holding weekend adoption shows to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with our volunteers.
