My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Holly Belle!

Holly Belle is a beautiful 1-year-old female black Lab/Shepherd mix. She is spayed, heartworm-negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and protected with a one-year ProHeart heartworm injection. She’s healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home!

Holly Belle is incredibly affectionate, social, loves everyone she meets, and never misses a chance to give kisses! Playtime is her favorite, especially a good game of fetch, and she has the energy and enthusiasm to keep an active family smiling. She’s very smart, eager to please, and highly responsive to positive reinforcement (she loves treats!), making her a joy to train.

Around Christmas time, she was intentionally abandoned by her owner on veterinary clinic property and was taken in and lovingly cared for by the staff who quickly realized what a special dog she is.  She has done incredibly well in her run, is not destructive of her bedding, and has never soiled her space.  She gets very excited when meeting new dogs, and we’re working on calm introductions as she continues to learn her manners.  She loves to play with a dog that can match her energy!

Holly Belle would thrive in a home that can give her plenty of time, space, and opportunities to run and play to keep her mind engaged. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic, and loyal companion, Holly Belle is ready to meet you and steal your heart!

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
