Jade is a young, sweet girl who has already been through more change than any dog should. Her owner went to work in another state and, tragically, passed away after an accident. Through it all, Jade was kept safe and cared for by his landlord, who made sure she was protected until we had space to welcome her. Thanks to that kindness, Jade is now ready for her next chapter.
Jade has lots of experience with people and has done well around kids. She enjoys human companionship and is happiest when she’s part of everyday life. We are currently working with her on dog social skills; she likely wasn’t socialized with other dogs while growing up, so at this time Jade would prefer to be the only dog in the home where she can feel secure and confident.
We are unsure how Jade feels about cats, but we’re happy to provide guidance and support to help set her up for success. With patience, structure, and love, Jade has so much potential to thrive.
