My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Information: Juniper is an estimated 2 year old, female, cattle dog/chihuahua/ mix currently weighing approximately 16lbs. She has been pulled from our rescue partner, Tulare, in California due to overcrowding. She is described as a happy and friendly pup. She was kenneled with Jeremy.

Foster Profile: Juniper is a social little gal who is settling in nicely to her foster home. She gets along with all people and happily free roams (supervised) with the other dogs in her foster home. She also does well with the cats, though she can try and chase them a little bit (nothing malicious) and she is getting more comfortable with playing with them. She may be suitable in a home with a cat that is confident and stands their ground (does not flee) or likes to play.

Juniper is working on being quiet in the crate and some leash manners. She is being fostered by a trainer and will go to her forever home with some strong skills and manners.

We haven't seen Juniper around kids, but she is very social and works through insecurity well, so she may be suitable with dog-savvy kids.

Juniper is an amazing little dog,  even with some insecurity, she bounces back fast. She's playful but will nap when you're not engaging with her!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).

Animal History: This dog was transferred from Tulare, CA. He will be transferred via Furry Freight, arriving to foster care on 12/13/2025 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
