Meet Lucky! Lucky came to us after being surrendered by his owner to our veterinarian. We are still getting to know Lucky because he is new to us. Unfortunately the shelter environment is chaotic and has been stressful for Lucky, so he is hoping his furever family can see past his seemingly anxious behavior to the help him become the good boy we know he can be. Lucky previously lived with another dog, and may do well with a confident doggy playmate at home. He is a young and energetic boy, so a family that will keep him active is ideal. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Lucky home. OUR MISSION: It is the mission of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center & Shelter to provide an environment of continuous improvement; emphasizing excellent service and safety for the community; providing the dogs and people of Fairfield County protection, care, and compassion with innovative, yet sustainable means; all while maintaining a standard of the utmost integrity.
It is the purpose of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center and Shelter to embrace the dogs of the community; to keep lost or adoptable dogs safe until they can find their way home; to protect Fairfield County through the enforcement of Section 955 of the Ohio Revised Code , and to continue to provide the community with education opportunities on the importance of pet safety and population control.
