My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred Rogers is an 11 week old Hound/Terrier mix puppy. He was the lone male of the Yinzer litter born to mama Hazel in rescue on 10/16/25. Fred was born with cleft lip. While he was the runt of the litter, he didn't let the cleft lip impact his nursing and eating his kibble. He was seen at a specialty vet to evaluate him and determine his course of treatment. Good news! Because he doesn’t have a cleft palate and is eating and growing, surgery is not needed because the defect is cosmetic only. He will be re-evaluated at our vet when his adult teeth are fully grown in, around 7-8 months old.

Fred is a playful silly boy that loves his bones and his beds! He especially loves cuddling with his humans. He is being crate trained and is working on house training. He does not like the cold snow, but will begrudgingly go outside if he has a shirt/sweater on, and his humans are patient and wait outside with him to go. He loves playing with other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats, but is young enough to learn!

He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.
