#MADloveMerry is a new addition to the pack. She came to us with 2 day old puppies and has been a great momma! True to form, she is a velcro Mal and always wants to be near to her person - she will make a wonderful companion. Very sweet, compliant, and sensitive. She likes to help cook (well, she hangs out in front of the refigerator). As the babies are growing more and nursing less, she's started to have more energy and be interested in toys.
Funny thing about her....she likes to sleep in the dark (the dog version of an ostrich putting it's head in the sand)!
She also likes to dig for gophers!

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.

Interview
We interview applicants and 3 references. References include 2 non-family members and 1 vet.
Home Check
After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.
Approve Application
Pay Fee
All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.
