Shepherds are such sensitive souls and Audra wears her sensitiveness for the world to see. So very sweet and incredibly affectionate she’s a little shy and unsure. Her whole world changed in an instant and she’s figuring out her new normal and adjusting to the sights, sounds and activity levels of the ranch. Although some of those changes cause her to be a bit unsure she’s truly done very well all things considered. She’s acclimating and is a wonderful loyal girl ready to find her perfect home.

Audra has been a beloved family member for her whole life. She had a kind human and 3 canine companions of various sizes. This sweet girls human suddenly passed away and she and the other large dog Marley protected his body while they waited for help. Thankfully their human’s family discovered he passed and cared for the dogs while they looked for rescue placement. We are so thankful we had the space to bring all 4 dogs into the rescue.

Audra is adjusting to her new normal but what she’d love the most is a family to bond with. She had that and that family environment makes her feel most secure. She’s spry for her age, still plays with toys for short spurts and walks well on leash. Shes a good girl looking for a calm home environment to enjoy her senior years in.
