My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Ollie. I am a silly little boy with lots of energy and love. I was found in a feral colony with my sister, Shadow, but I’m quickly warming up to humans and I love pets and scratches, especially if yummy treats are involved. I snuggle my foster mom and dad, but I need some time to open up to new people. I can play all day and I get along with other cats. I wrestle and chase my foster siblings (cats) around the house and love to snuggle up with them after. I have a funny little crooked tail, but I hear that’s good luck. I need to be adopted with Shadow or another kitten my age. Additional adoption info

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

Go meet their pets

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. For additional information regarding how you, too, can become a foster, please see our fostering page located on our web site!

CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
