Approx. 7 years old | Currently in Puerto Vallarta, MX Can travel to Canada & USA with flight angel escorts
This calm, sweet, and affectionate 7-year-old boy (approx.) is ready for a loving forever home. While he doesn’t have many teeth left, he proudly shows off more than one when he yawns—a little reminder of a life well lived.
Mac was found abandoned near the Isla Cuale River, and it quickly became clear that he had once been someone’s pet. He was incredibly social, gentle, and loving—traits that would have made surviving on his own nearly impossible. Thankfully, he was found in time.
Mac is litter box trained, great with kids, and does well with dogs. He can be selective with other cats, so he would do best either as an only cat or with a calm, compatible feline companion. A quiet or low-key household would suit him best, where he can relax and enjoy steady affection.
Personality: • Calm • Sweet • Affectionate
Ideal Home: • Quiet or calm environment • Dog-friendly • Either an only cat or with a compatible cat
Mac has had our complete Cat protocol :
* Complete Health exam by a Vet * Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm * Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated) * Bloodwork 2: Chem profile * Deworming at intake and monthly thereafter * Vaccines: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Distemper (FP), Calicivirus (FCV), Rabies * Spay/Neuter * Flea/Tick prevention * Microchipping available

Two women, one American, and one Mexican met in Sayulita through their mutual concern for the many sick, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats in the area.
They began working together informally to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for these animals. Their efforts eventually led to the formation of Wet Noses Rescue, which has grown from a small backyard operation to an expanding nonprofit housed on a property with dedicated facilities in Punta de Mita. Providing the animals with health care, rehabilitation, socialization, and careful evaluation which is needed for a successful adoption to new homes in the United States and Canada.
Wet Noses Rescue also provides Spay/Neuter clinics in the local community to reduce overpopulation and vaccinations to reduce the prevalence of serious diseases such as Parvo and Distemper.
