Say Hi to Storm! This young, energetic girl is looking for her forever family! Storm is an almost 2 year old Rottweiler mix. (Weimaraner, GSP, Lab, all the energetic things!) She would do best in an active home that can keep her exercised and stimulated. She loves her people and snuggling up with them, but she is by no means a couch potato. She will need a family who can walk her often and give her time to play in the backyard. Due to her energy level she would be best with older kids (7+) who can appreciate running around with her! Storm is great with other dogs, but has too high of a prey drive to live with cats. Storm is house broken, crate trained, up to date on vaccines, HW negative and on preventions and spayed. We have monthly events at local pet stores in Columbus and Dayton, and can arrange private meet-and-greets with individual fosters, as needed. Please submit an application to adopt in order to be contacted by one of our adoption coordinators, if you would like to meet one of our dogs.

More about this rescue

Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming companion animals for over twenty years. What started as a small foster-based rescue in Dayton, focused on purebred puppy mill releases and owner surrenders, has grown into a multi-city effort, and now includes the PUPP Prison Dog Training Program and partnerships with shelters across the State of Ohio to help save hundreds of dogs each year. Contrary to our name, we rescue dogs of all breeds, mixes, shapes, and sizes! We provide standard vetting for them while they are in our care - all of our dogs are fixed, heartworm tested, vaccinated, and microchipped before they are placed in adoptive homes.
