My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sebastian

Sebastian is a big, handsome guy with an even bigger heart. He came to us when his previous owner was planning a move, and the change was understandably hard on him. At first, Sebastian shut down and showed some defensive behavior while he adjusted to his new surroundings. With a little time, patience, and kindness, his true personality has blossomed—and what a personality it is!

Now, Sebastian is an absolute love bug. He eagerly comes out to seek attention and will happily meow and chat until he gets the affection he knows he deserves. Pets, love, and companionship are his favorite things, and he isn’t shy about asking for them.

Sebastian would thrive in a home that understands that transitions can be tough and is ready to give him the love and reassurance he craves. In return, you’ll get a devoted, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side.

If you’re looking for a big guy with a soft heart and lots of love to give, Sebastian is ready to meet you!

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
