My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zoey !

Zoey is an absolute ball of love who lives for affection. This sweet girl wants nothing more than to be babied, spoiled, and showered with attention—and she’ll happily soak it all up. Belly rubs? Yes please! Zoey is one of those rare cats who truly enjoys them.

When Zoey was first surrendered, she was understandably scared, but with patience and lots of love, her true personality has blossomed. Now she’s a confident, affectionate companion who loves to communicate with her people. She chirps, chatters, and even gives the occasional little hiss just to make sure you’re listening—she’s a talkative lady with plenty to say!

If you’re looking for a cat who will adore you endlessly and return every bit of love you give, Zoey is ready to steal your heart.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
